Climate-Neutral Holiday at Hotel Dosses
The nature in South Tyrol is one of the most valuable treasures that must be cared for and protected. We also want to contribute to this. Hotel Dosses receives its electricity 100% environmentally friendly and climate-neutral from the Tiers hydropower plant. The hotel is also heated with a pellet system, which is operated with the environmentally friendly and renewable raw material wood, which we source directly from Kastelruth, i.e., in the immediate vicinity.

Sustainable Heating
Pellets are environmentally friendly fuels made from dried industrial sawdust and wood residues from forestry. These are pressed into uniformly sized rods under high pressure. This way, wood pellets contain a lot of energy and can be stored in a space-saving manner. Due to their standardized size and quality, they also enable optimal combustion, with hardly any residues.
