The new cable car from St. Zyprian to Carezza

Now we’re really going uphill – and quite comfortably!

Finally it’s here: strating from the end of 2022 a new cable car will connect St. Zyprian/Tiers to the hiking and skiing paradise of the Rosengarten. From the hotel, the new state-of-the-art gondola lift from St. Zyprian is only 400 m away and offers the hotel guests a car-free alternative to easily reach one of the most beautiful skiing and hiking areas in South Tyrol.

Italy’s first open top
aerial cable car

With the new Tierser cable car, a direct cable car connection is provided from Tiers/St. Zyprian to the ski, hiking and biking resort Carezza Dolomites. In just 7 minutes travelling time, the 3.8 km aerial tramway with 60 seats, climbs to an altitude difference of 644 metres. Italy’s first open top aerial cable car features a high line and design that greatly enhance the travel and landscape experience. It has a panoramic balcony, which has its own access in the station buildings. This allows 10 persons to spend the ride outdoors for an extra charge and enjoy the view of the Rosengarten “with wind in the hair”.

Eco-friendly mobility route

The Tiers cable car introduces the guests of Hotel Dosses to the UNESCO World Heritage Rosengarten and is a milestone on the way to a car-free experience of the natural paradise of the Rosengarten. In the summer months, you will be able to reach the Kölner hut, Karersee or Welschnofen on foot, by bike or by cable car of Tiers.
