Running tracks up to 2,300 m
The natural running track, its inclines and the changing surface have a very special training effect. In addition to conditioning and endurance, trail running in South Tyrol also strengthens your coordination and concentration. With 20 varied and well-marked running tracks of all difficulty levels, you will find excellent conditions in the Seiser Alm Running Park. The tracks go up to altitudes of 2,300 m. But you can also run at a leisurely pace at altitudes of around 1,000 m around the villages of Seis, Kastelruth and Völs am Schlern. And there is also a suitable route for beginners.
The Rosengarten Schlern Sky Marathon
In summer, the Rosengarten Schlern Sky Marathon takes place. This is a marathon in alpine terrain that circumnavigates the Rosengarten massif. The start is in Tiers - St. Zyprian at about 1,100 m above sea level. The highest point is the Grasleiten Pass at 2,610 metres above sea level. The Rosengarten Schlern Sky Marathon takes place in a unique setting in the heart of the Dolomites UNESCO World Heritage Site and is aimed at all nature and running enthusiasts with the necessary athletic preparation. In 2 versions with 45 or 36 km length and 3,000 or 2,000 metres of altitude difference.
