Pleasurable kilometres of cross-country trails at the Rosengarten
Just 7 minutes by the new St. Zyprian cable car from the hotel and you are right in the middle of a unique area for cross-country skiing in the Dolomites. A total of 20 km of well-groomed trails await you. They are also wonderful for beginners and families. Choose one:
- Frin, 8 km, easy
- Karersee circuit (Angerle Alm), 3 km, easy
- Connecting trail Frin – Niger – Frin, 8 km, easy
- Simhild – Moseralm – Frin: 4 km, medium
The use of the trails in Karersee is free of charge.
80 kilometres of trails on the Seiser Alm
If you want to gain even more distance and enjoy scenic attractions, you should also ski the trails of the Seiser Alm. Forest sections and snow-covered alpine meadows alternate there. The curved landscape is mostly sun-drenched and always allows a view of an overwhelming Dolomite panorama. The trail network on the Seiser Alm comprises 80 km. All are double or quadruple tracked and prepared for skating. For cross-country skiing in the Dolomites, you will find trails of every difficulty level here:
There is, among other things, a 2 km long practice trail for beginners and the quite demanding Jochloipe for experienced cross-country skiers with good fitness.
