Climbing in the Dolomites
For a climbing holiday in the Rosengarten area
Climbing in the Dolomites is more than a sport – it is an encounter with the landscape. In the Schlern-Rosengarten Nature Park, steep walls, clear lines, and wide views form a terrain that inspires and challenges. Whether a classic climbing route, an airy ridge, or a quiet tour in the early morning hours – around the Dosses, many paths begin right at the door. You choose the rhythm, we give you the space. For all who seek the authentic – and enjoy being at eye level with the mountains.
Paths in the Rock
The Dolomites around Tiers offer via ferratas for every skill level – from beginner-friendly to alpine-demanding. Routes like the one to the Santnerspitze – named after Johann Santner, who was the first to stand there in 1880 – are among the classics. As descendants of the South Tyrolean mountain guide Franz Schroffenegger, we carry on this mountain passion. Not with big words, but with the invitation: The line in the rock is there. The start begins with us.
Experienced mountain guide at your side
Those who want to discover the Dolomites with an experienced mountain guide are in good hands with us. We are happy to organise a tour with the certified mountain guide Thomas Zelger for you on request – whether for an introduction to the world of climbing, a guided route, or technical training. Children and teenagers can also gain their first experiences in age-appropriate courses. Thanks to the ideal location in St. Zyprian, you can reach many via ferratas in the Rosengarten area in a short time – often without long approaches. A place that is not only close to the mountains – but right in the middle of them.
