Quickly on the mountain – in summer and winter
The new mountain railroad from St. Zyprian to Carezza
Just 500 m from the hotel is the new St. Zyprian gondola lift. It connects Tiers directly with the hiking and skiing area of Carezza on the Rosengarten – completely without a car. In summer, you can effortlessly reach high-altitude trails, alpine pastures, and panoramic paths. In winter, the cable car takes you right into the sunniest ski area in South Tyrol – with over 40 kilometres of pistes. Convenient, environmentally friendly, and directly from the hotel.
Italy's first cabrio cable car
The new Tiers cable car provides a direct cable car connection from Tiers/St. Zyprian to the Carezza Dolomites ski, hiking, and bike resort. In just 7 minutes, the 3.8 km long reversible ropeway with 60 seats overcomes an altitude difference of 644 meters. A high line and its design as Italy's first cabrio cable car greatly enhance the travel and landscape experience. It features a panoramic balcony, which can be reached via a separate entrance in the station building. This allows 10 people to enjoy the ride in the open air for an extra charge, enjoying the view of the Rosengarten "with the wind in their hair".
A course of gentle mobility
The Tiers cable car serves as an entry point for guests of the Hotel Dosses into the UNESCO World Heritage Rosengarten and is a milestone on the way to making the natural paradise under the Rosengarten accessible without a car. In the summer months, you can reach the Kölner Hütte, Lake Carezza, or Welschnofen on foot, by bike, or with the cable cars from Tiers.
